1981 Kawasaki Z650F2.
Motor is free and has compression. Carbs I rebulit for him 8 years ago but they've been kept dry ever since.
The paint job he had done 20 years ago, nice but no stripes on the tank? It'll polish up real well.
He arsed about with the front end so much that during reassembly I've found that the speedo drive is missing and the LH caliper won't fit for some unknown reason. Also the front master cylinder is missing.
The log book will come with the bike, but the keys he's still searching for so I've unbolted the ignition and seat lock and left the fuel flap open.
The inside of the tank looks pretty good to be honest, and I think a dose of DEOX-C would sort it. Certainly solid underneath.
Make no bones about it, this is a FULL resto job so although it might look pretty good it'll need the full treatment. Bought as seen only.
It's being offered on here for £550 before I stick it on eBay as a no reserve auction on Sunday.
