Hello.Im new.A lifetime of British Bikes.Then few years back I bought a z650 as a spare, for when My Commando didnt want to play.Such great bikes.Recently purchased a 78 Z1000 which may or may not have a future as a resto mod.
Or maybe Ill find a resto mod from a member!

Your A2 looks too good to resto mod. Find somthing that is not economical to get back to stock to resto mod.

Welcome! Agree with Warren, that is a near perfect z1000 A2a, they don’t come more complete than that. Id love to see more of it out and about all shined. It’s one of my most favourite colour schemes.

As others have said, leave the A2 as she is, plenty of non original Z Thou's around if you want to modify, and they will cost much less in the current Market as well.

As said before : the Z1000A2 is too good to resto mod. Clean her up, polish her and enjoy the ride.
