Straight forward 400km run to Albany today for the new front tyre.
It was perfect riding weather, mid 20's a tail wind and the sun on my back. ( not rubbing it in honest..)
There was a 20km gravel road detour which made things interesting but fun.
After the tyre was fitted it was time to visit the National Anzac Memorial to the World Wars.
Should make it home tomorrow. Don't want to say anything about the Zed, I don't want to invite bad luck into the trip.

Nice one keep up the good work. Glad you got your tyre sorted ok
Re: Road Trip
Left just after sunrise for a good run home through some marvellous countryside. If you're planning on a visit down under I highly recommend a tour of our south west.
Total Km for the trip = 1,891km ( 1,175 miles )

Re: Road Trip
Top posting thanks for that. Unfortunately I doubt I'll ever get to ride those roads but nice to know what I'm missing. And of course your trusty chariot carried you in the style of the gods
Re: Road Trip
Big thanks for posting your trip, nice insight into what we are all missing, great weather and scenery.
I will await your next ride report.

Re: Road Trip
Cheers for the replies. That's an excellent tip Fred about the baby wipes, will be packing them next trip. There are a few other roads to travel here but to go into more hilly territory and more windier roads its a 3 or 4 day trip to go over to the east coast. Unlike you lucky bigger who can go international quicker than it takes me to get out of the city
Was very impressed with the bikes performance, apart from the fork seal, speedo cable coming undone from the speedo itself and the front tyre she performed faultlessly, oh an the time she drank all the fuel without waiting for me to fill her up . Now time to finish the A1 and take that on a cruise somewhere.

Re: Road Trip
That's my type ride out country, the roads look a bit crowded though
Re: Road Trip
That looks a great trip and great set of photos there thanks for posting - we're planning a three week road trip to California next year with friends and will ditch the SUV and hire a couple of Mustangs to do the Highway 1 part of the trip (Monterey to San Diego), as tourists do.........
I'll also be researching were to hire bikes from and will probably hire a Harley for one of the days; probably the only time you'll get me on one.
