Z1000A1 Clock Cover finish.

#1 PostAuthor: r3sc » Wed Nov 10, 2021 10:05 pm

When the z1000A1 was new back in 1977, what was the paint finish on the clocks?

Was it gloss black or satin black?

Were the clock covers and the clocks themselves finished in the same black?

Just need to get the finish right.

Cheers.

I have a 650 which I bought new in 77 and would imagine 1000's are the same as they are the same part which is satin finish. Both top and bottom.
