Fuel Injection

I have just dragged out my old GPZ1100 Unitrak which I restored years ago and then never got around to finishing in as much as it ran lean and it then got parked up and ignored for many years.

I decided to drag it out, sort it and sell it .... but having dragged it out I've had a change of heart and want to sort it properly and play with it for a while. I have decided to fit modern injectors and a power commander and make it run nicely. I have been looking at the turbo site where they have been playing with such toyz. Has anyone on here spent much time playing with the DFI on a GPZ eleven?

I am also building an A4 special on which I had planned to use a set of RS34s, but am now wondering about fuel injection. I am making mainly period mods ie no up-side-downies mono shox etc, but some early eighties FI with a bit of discrete modern control might be an interesting way to go. Anyone else had a go at some FI on an earlier Zed?

I’m wondering if one could fit th entire system from another bike and simply remap the ECU. I’m probably being too simplistic….
