1977 Z1000 A1 plus much more

#1 PostAuthor: Exhaust Craft » Sat Aug 03, 2024 6:25 pm

After suffering from back problems for over 20 years, I am regrettably selling all my Kawasaki parts old and new, including my 1977 S reg Z1000, V5 in my name, bought from a member several years ago. Full Z1000 in bits plus much more.
1st frame has been modified to take the new Over Racing alloy ZRX1200 swing arm fitted with the GSF600 rear wheel and standard swing arm. Used Z900RS swing arm and shock. 2nd frame has no V5, bought from J Browse Motorcycles Wrexham. New all-black ZRX1200 Ohlins forks with CNC radial-mount Brembo calliper brackets, New 4-piston Brembo radial callipers, and New sculpture black yokes. New PMC rear sets with master cylinder, New cutdown seat from Z-Power+standard seat. New PMC gearchange shaft. All new gaskets and every gearbox bearing + new timing chain from Z-POwer. NEW engine bolt sets-head nuts-washers etc etc
New Dyna coils, only fitted never used, new Dyna plug leads. New 29mm Keihin carbs+ standard carbs. New wiring harness from Z-Power-horn-other electrical parts. New from Electrex, generator and reg/reg unit. PMC alloy gearbox cover delete, PMC lighter clutch pull conversion kit. Standard clocks with ZRX clocks, I was going to see If I could use the ZRX speedo in the standard clock. New Nitron ZRX1200 shocks. ZRX1100-ZRX1200 wheels, standard wheels-alloy and spoked, front rebuilt with new ss spokes and new rim, used Fireblade 4-piston callipers. Other used parts I have will be included, and Various new cables, too. Standard engine ran perfectly, with no fin damage

I am looking at the complete sale of all parts which are in Whitehaven Cumbria. total for everything is £6000 Cheers Dave 07738943411

Hi Neil, There are a few other parts I haven't got pictures of; as it is very picture-heavy, the yokes and swingarm have been fitted just to check they are correct, the top shock mounts have already been altered for the wider swing arm, Basically, the frame needs powder-coated., then the rebuild can begin. I would have stripped the engine and checked it all, then had it vapour blasted. The engine has a new 19teeth 530 offset sprocket fitted. If my back wasn't getting worse, I would have rebuilt it and never sold it, It is very annoying to have all these high-quality parts and I will never get to ride it.
