Hi All, sorry maybe an obvious question but I’m finishing off my z650 build and I’m missing an advancer. Ive built a z750 engine for it and It came with electronic ignition. However I’ve binned it and gone for Dyna S type unit, but I still need an advancer. Now I notice the 650 and 750 have different advancers. Given I’m using it with an electronic unit does it matter which one I use or does anyone know the difference?
Looking at the numbers 21148-011 / 21148-1013 / 1014
Looks like all will physically fit but may have different spring tensions or Lobe dimensions. Assuming only the spring tension will make a difference when using Dyna-S
Any other part numbers could work etc?
Second question - anyone got one they can sell me?
