Hi! Ok this could be the way forward. But I have at least one which is bent out of shape as they were seized solid. Let me inspect closer when I’m back at the weekend and see how many I need to replace before reseating

Depending on the severity i can usually straighten them.
I do that as part of the service when i prep them for the new seals.
Post some pics so i can see how bad they are..

Ok just back from a trip. See pics below. Two are ok and two damaged. One has a slight bend the other is worse and has some damage from manhandling it out.

Without them being in my hand i can't be 100% sure but by the looks of them in the pics i've straightened worse.
The gouges are a different story and whilst they can be smoothed out they can't be eliminated but that won't affect the actual sealing function of the plunger head and seal.
