Starter motor & modded sump

Sump
Standard sump (Z1R etc) with oil gate. Nicely done (maybe by ATP) and in great condition with no damage. Includes drain plug.

Starter motor
Replaced but found the culprit to be the rotor spinning on the shaft so now surplus to requirements.
This is the 2 brush type as fitted to the Z1R D1 but fits a multitude of models.
It does have a witness mark of where a chain has let go previously but no damage.
I have opened it up, cleaned everything, the magnets are solid, the armeture is fine as are the brushes with plenty of life left in them, lubricated the bearings, reassembled and tested.


Starter motor: £50 + postage.
Modded sump: £50 + postage.

Prevents oil surging away from the oil pump pickup during hard acceleration.
Often accompanied by a flickering oil light.
