GENTS im looking for one of these but im trying to find what model of transport its from ???? i know not kawasaki ? or is it ?

its the original to the 24ltr 1000s tank ive the next best thing the vw 5 wing cap but would like original cap

From what i read that tank did use a VW cap but the German firm Hella make similar caps so maybe it is one of theirs.
Maybe the cruciform caps were made specific by Hella for the 1000s to fit a VW style tank aperture.

thanks mark thats what i have on the tank now 5 wing vw audi gen cap the original is steel 4 wing

thanks rob ive been on every german site for hella no luck cannot find which model it was made for ? ive even got a good friend mick fischer over in germany on the case ive pics from other 1000s at shows and there deffo 4 wing steel

thanks rob for your comment after a root round hella's products i found the top part of the original cap can be replaced and changed which hella did so a call tomoz to germany is in order

found a 5 wing replacement so ill ask for a 4 wing or pull in a favour from a customer of mine to make one !!

well stuck at it ? now i have the correct cap thanks to johan rocha from Portugal the cap is actually British made by CBS IT NEEDED a rebuild and found i could use most parts from a NOS austin a40 petrol cap thanks johan
