hi all,
does anyone know if the carb rubbers to head need to be sealed with anything before being fitted ,am fitting some flatslides to it but didnt want any leaks ??

By the book with new rubbers they shouldn't need any sealer but i put a bead of Vtec Vital black on the head and then lightly seat the rubbers without fully tigtening.
I leave it overnight to cure , tighten then peel off the excess from inside and out.
Never had any any leaks when doing that even on my Supercharged one which uses the stock carb rubbers for mounting.
