Hi another question for them that know what finish is correct and original for rear axle shaft nut and spacers.
Swing arm shaft nut and spacers.
Rear motor mount spacers.

Hi

I think that the swing arm nut ( the big one that sits on the left hand side of the frame) was chromed...correct me if I'm wrong please.

No Philippe it was zinc plated

As far as I'm aware, the nut is chrome. All other items asked about are clear zinc

Not that im a reliable source but the part is listed as 42045-018 but says nothing on the finish but i have 3.. 2 rusted zinc the other chromed.

That is the rear axle nut which correctly is Zinc. Swing arm nut is Chrome

I'm glad you confirm my thoughts. All the Z bikes I have, have a chromed swing arm nut.
I was afraid that I was wrong all the time.
Only the Z1000H has a zinc plated swing arm nut.
