I have a KZ900 I'm trying to get going. It had a Dyna electronic ignition on it that was knackered so I am putting it back to points. Ive got the plate, points, condensers but the advance /retard plate doesn't look its original.
Could you knowledgable people have a look and tell me if its wrong and if so how I can get a replacement?
Thanks

That is the correct 005 20/40 degree advancer for all Z900, Z1000 up to the Z1R D1 .
The rotor needs swapping for a cam though if you want to run points.

Thanks, is it possible to get the rotor separately, do you know who would sell them, thanks very much for your help

I'd put an ad in the wanted section.
There's ton's of people who have fitted Dyna ignitions so there's bound to be a few points cams going spare..
