Head tightening after rebuild

#1 PostAuthor: shaggy » Mon Apr 22, 2024 9:00 am

Dumb question
Should the head bolts be tightened after engine has been run to temperature should it be done when engine is still hot or when it has cooled down.tia

Re-torque the head when it has fully cooled overnight after the first start.

Maybe silly question as im about to do this too, should you just re torque to original settings as is, or back each bolt one at a time a turn back then re torque to correct amount?
Thanks
