Oil pump priming

Hello gents could anyone tell me how to prime the oil pump on a gpz 1100 please I've been told i need to do this after replacing the oil pan.

You don't really need to prime the pump unless it's a fresh built motor and then spinning the motor on the starter for a few seconds with the plugs out or the kill switch off to circulate the oil is all you need to do.
Just replacing the pan and filling with fresh oil on a relatively recently run engine won't need that.
