My project bike which was going to be a classic racer but I have had a change of plan and dont want to build a bike following the rule book anymore, so will put something together thats different to anything I have done before

Nosher got to agree with rpeters that looks shite! You could make your "trophy winning" Z1b look like that..
but if it were me I'd make it a Racecrafters Replica not a Flat tracker after all it is a Superbike not a dirt bike

Steve, I've had one of those Zed-butt seats knocking around for ages and I keep planning on using it. Trouble is, each time I do a mock up with it, it just doesn't look right. I've come to the conclusion that the front end is the problem, ie the big lip that is moulded into it. I think if this is removed leaving just the side mouldings it would look a lot better as the tail section is quite nice.
