Had a great day today. Nice to meet some old acquaintances and make some new ones.

I didn`t get to see many bikes really as I was concentrating on some errands due to people being unable to attend this weekend.

Well done to the crew that organised the two stands. Plenty of hard work I`m in no doubt.

Quote of the day came from a Z1OC stand visitor exclaiming that "it`s always the same bikes on show" :shock:

Who won the best Z1OC bike ?

Great to see all the guys [and gals], from the club. Paul [PJ], was good enough to pick me up on Saturday, despite having to come out of his way.
Spent most of the time gassing to people on the stand, some of whom i realised i had known over 20 years. Also met a few that i had never met before.
Sunday my wife drove me up and Mortons arranged for me to meet guest of honour, Freddie Spencer, one of my racing heros. As my mobility isn't good, they took me to the hospitality suite gardens and ChrisNI was good enough to take some pics. Freddie signed me some books and we had a brief chat. He is a very polite, courteous guy,[unlike other ex racers i have met].
All in all, an excellent weekend.

As others have said - great show, club stand looked great again - good selection on display - even bigger selection of club members :shock: couldn't move on the stand sometimes for bumping into members :shock: wonder what a roll call of members who where at the show would look like?

I stood and watched freddie spencer's signing for quite a while, he seemed like a true gent, somehow cant see "the doctor" doing this in 20myrs time;

think only eddie lawson could top mortons feat of getting freddie though;

re the model GS, i thought that deserved best in show, it was incredible!
