As my yzf has been written off and not having a Zed for four months i have decided to get another Zed just a 650 though, its a C3 model with an F motor and D pipes, quite tidy, with a powder coated frame, i think a couple of electrical gremlins, should have it sorted in short time though, Project SH*T HEAP mk2 pics to follow.

Good luck with this one Kev, I'll look forward to following it.
I'll move it to the 'Projects' section for you.

cheers piggy and steve.

I think it will just be a tidy up job sort out the electrical gremlins and just keep riding it all year weather permitting, possibly in the future a Z1b style paint job, i will be hitting the big 50 this year so these days resto work takes a back seat to riding the things especially as it's a zed, saying that the tail is off already and i'm thinking how do straighten the tail mount and the slight kink in the mudguard, i just can't help myself

Well that was a short one i took the tail off and noticed the frame was a little askew, so i levelled the bike and put a straight edge from front to back and there is a twist in the frame, a good 19mm, so i called the seller who took it back and gave me a full refund, he is now going to break the bike, i don't mind a bit of work but getting another c frame may be difficult and having it realigned is exspensive down this way, so i'm on the lookout for a z650 now, as long as its not an sr or csr.
