Z1b bits

#1 PostAuthor: bob fell » Thu Mar 01, 2012 9:35 pm

Hi zedders

Doing bits n pieces to my bike (it never stops) and its starting to look good just just a few things I`m considering -

A front mudguard as mine is flaking badly, are patterned ones available?

also do they do engine bars for a z1b ?

and I often see pix of z`s with a lower seat I cant remeber the name but its lower than standard with a kind of lump at the back (sorry to show my ignorance)

any advice appreciated , the mudguard is the priority

Cheers dudes

Bob

Z Power do both a replica and an original front mudguard for the Z1 and the handle bars are mostly likely available from them as well

Hi Bob

Z Power got cut down seats plus new genuine and repro fenders as far as I know matey.

Word from Dave Marsden was if the bike is tidy it is worth investing in a standard fender if you can afford it.

I've seen both there and you can tell the pattern one is an imitation - unlike the rear.

They also do engine bars but I would be wary of two point fixing ones - you only get strength with a three point fixing.

Cheers from Mark

Checked with zpower and they do a 2 point fix engine bar but not a three, does anyone know who sells the 3 point fix engine bars?

Bob the engine bars Z-Power do are anchored at top and bottom engine mountings and i think it is ample as they saved my casings after car U-Turn many years ago,

Hi firestorm

I'll take the 70's engine bars if Bobs not wanting them.
