Well ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC is how I would describe our weekend away, yes we had our little hiccup on the way down but the bikes never missed a beat and the ride home was practically dry bar a minor sprinkling, amazing!!

Caught up with faces new and familiar along the way, drank beer, ate cake ,and diced along with the German countryside, Just the best time, big thanks to the Guys, the organizers and the mighty Z1! for getting us there and back in style.

Here is a snippet of our journey to Edersee

HI guys, well what can i say? I had an absolute ball, i nearly didnt go due to last minuete bike probs, but i am so glad i went, as it has really sparked me up, to keep on going with me z.
had great fun meeting the lads from the club, as it was my first z1oc rally, and i never once felt out of place.
It was a hoot trying to speak german again, after being away from the place for 30 years
Friday night was a total blast, and the mosh pit mulisha [me, hobbo, steve, gail, simon and paul] gave it what for, headbanging for england  till the next time, bye for now, tricky, [or is it G.I JOE, OR CONNAN THE CUP DESTROYER] sorry bill

First time out of the country on a bike for me; loved every minute and mile. Bike ran great, altho i did have one oily plug which didnt affect the bike at all. Wanna doit again now. :)

Rally site was excellent. beer was good. good company. i`m made up i went now.
i was really knackered by the time i got home monday 11pm.

My only drama was when i got separated from my navigator (Steve) and done a hour n half tour of Antwerp...but when i finally caught up he was waiting patiently by the roadside eating a piece of cake (bless him).
Got some pics to post soon.

wont be going by the tunnel next time-----firkin useless.

I liked this picture.

Spoke to the owner who had done some great simple mods to his bike including down draught carbs with neat manifolds.

The spirit of z40 anniversary.

Taken me all week to do this - gave up on Photo+ucket and posted on Youtube instead.

Enough Zeds to keep anyone happy - its the Ride out from the Rally and our very own GotaZ1B is in there...
