Those of us who have been to this before have discussed going again.
This friendly show attracts 3-5,000 bikes every year and is a great season closer.

I will post up a link and entry form later.

I met up with Bunny at 8.00 and filled up with fuel. Then left half a tank on the floor as after stripping the carbs last weekend and triple checking the float heights one of them leaked.
I drained down the carbs by running the engine with the fuel off and all seemed well.
We drove down to Boxhill in abso bloody lutely freezing conditions. Both of us had numb fingers by the time we got there but a cup of tea and sarnie helped.

It was the quietest I`ve ever seen Boxhill.

Riding through various foggy stretches and shielding our eyes from the low sun, our fingers were numb again. I had to keep turning off my fuel tap as when we stopped I was leaking all over the floor.

Stll when we got there Brighton did its usual thing with the weather. Roasting. Took us bloody ages to get in as well with my bike now overheating.

We eyed up the competition after parking our bikes in the show tent.

We saw Brian450`s bike in their but alas never met up.

A wander round revealed some interesting bikes.

I got a card from this seller of vintage leather goods. Most were excellent value at under £100. I thought this would interest our German colleagues.

Image

Lunch taken at the Harvester in t-shirts as it was so hot we returned for judging but none of the Zeds won. The flat track XS won best classic.
I dripped fuel all the way home as it started to get very cold.

We stopped for coffee at Cobham.

Got home at 6.00 cold and tired to a lovely roast dinner.

And that is the end of my biking year.
