Electronic Rev counters

#1 PostAuthor: ADRIAN H » Thu Sep 20, 2012 12:51 pm

Which Kawasaki Z1000, or Z1100 had an electronic rev counter, which I could make fit a Z1000A2 ?
I have a Z1000A2, which has a Z1000J head on, but the head does not have a tacho drive take off.

I have fitted an electronic rev counter from Z Power fitted, but the needle fell off after 1000 miles. Got a replacement and this did the same.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I saw one of these the other night on a z650 and the needle had snapped in half  it was still working though.

i think all models from the z1000j1 to gpz1100 have electronic tachometers + an alternative would be the zephyr 1100 or the zephyr 750

The Scitsu clocks and the Zephyr clocks both look interesting.
I will give Scitsu a bell tomorrow,
