I don't think there is any paint known to man that is brake fluid proof.

You'll need to powder coat or anodise to make them fluid proof. :roll:

I painted these with Hammerite & whist they looked good, brake fluid will still fook 'em up. :roll:

just flush through with the silicone fluid a couple of times job done. you could if you wanted / strip the pistons + seals but i have done quite a few by just flushing with the silicone fluid with no problems. if you are re building from scratch you should be replacing the seals anyway

I've used brake caliper paint, baked it, and not had any problems with fluid taking it off after that.
What we got here, is failure to comunicate.

When you bleed the system just have a spray bottle with water and washing up liquid in it, spray the area where the bleed nipple is first and if you have a big spill spray a shit load where the brake fluid has gone. The thing is brake fluid will travel over the washing up liquid / water mix :wink:
Got this tip years ago when I first started work as a diesel fitter when I was 15, old bloke who'd done this trick for years.
