2013 Rally

#1 PostAuthor: ted1r » Sat Nov 03, 2012 11:13 am

After discussions I have decided to stand down from the rally team.
I had not realized just how much would be involved in the running of the merchandise section when I volunteered to do the rally.
There are between you enough members to organize an outstanding event.
So once again many apologies.

Ted

Apologies not needed Ted.

You get involved in plenty as it is. As you've just said, there are plenty that can pitch in to sort the rally, but there's only one Mr Merchandiser. :bla

Anyone wishing to step up to the role, please PM Paul Doran. Posts on here, like after time on the X-factor, will not count.

personal opinion here.........

I think we need to bottom out scope/date/location first. Once that is done it will be easier to 'rally the troops' and get specifics set up and organised.

until we know where/when we're at risk of having lots of ideas but nothing tangible to aim at.

more than happy to assist but if for example its lancashire/yorkshire based those more local will be best placed to drive. Those more remote with certain skills can then be called in to assist.

no actual firm date has been set up yet I am just giving a guideline
but as only PJ has raised any interest in helping organise this it seems unlikely it will happen
remember this will need quite a bit of organisation and time
it is not just a regional Rally
