On to the downpipes tonight.
Bends out of the head are matched to the ports at 35mm and the bottom bends to the collector are 38mm so time to knock up some tapered headers
A simple notch to the required length was closed up with some hose clips then tacked in place before removing the clips and welded in full
Middle pipes slotted on and lower bends offered up
A bit of adjustment and they are ready for welding.
Some alloy angle held on with hose clips keeps every thing tight and in line and leaves enough of a gap so i can get a couple of tack welds on.

Got the mid pipes welded this morning and then tackled the outers
These are a bit trickier as they have to snake round the mid pipes and still end up the same length as the others at the collecter.
After lots of adjustment it misses everything so gets a visit from mister welding torch after which i have to make a mirror image for the other side
Time flies when you're having fun and todays 10 hours in the shed gets me this :D
Managed to get all the pipes the same length give or take a millimeter.
Just need to make some spring tags to pull it all together and then on the the link pipe and silencer.
