Zx6r front end

Been having trouble with the front of me bike but have managed to pick up a complete front end from a 2012 zx6r. Anyone fitted one onto a z1. Will my old stem press st into the yokes or am I infor some giggery pokery any advice before I start the grafting they are the usd type.

How did you get on with this eventually?
I know bike is all finished now but only seen pics

You will probably have to made a top hat bush for the stem as the xz6 one will have a larger diameter just a thought but you don't want forks shorter than around 29 inches or you will run in to clearance probs will some pipes even in a strait line.
