I had this Tamiya kit when I was a lad.....

I ain't got the cash/time for anything like that tho' ...... got the LASER pipe to fit, although that MOTAD is okay (at least it don't stick out the back of the bike like whellbarrow handles).

Also got some drop-bars coming .... these old CB's are long and heavy, I believe it weighs more than a Zed :shock:

I ran it up again yesterday and it was a bit smoother & quieter - I took Uk Kevs advice and whacked some Redex in it which should help clean the carbs a bit, they're decent 28mm Keihin pumpers :wink:

Just been out for a couple of miles and she runs better still - must be the new oil & filter.

Agreed Paul, I would leave it as it is and spend time/money on Zed projects. Come on Mark you know it makes sense. Some H***** enthusiast will pay good money for it and you can make a profit

Well, I've NEARLY finished my Hodna CAFE RACER project................... period 1980's drop bars now attached :twisted:

A guy at one of the shows was selling a kit (full size) to do that faired in racer. Including 4 into 4 pipes looked good.
