I purchased one of these MBTX20U from LM spares Hereford(Raw Power) which seems to have no stock,and was about £70 odd 2 yrs ago.

Beén no bother for me,although it's spent most of it's time on a trickle charger.

The LITHIUM battery is a different animal - it weighs bugger all compared to GEL or ACID batteries
Fitted some filters on the Z1R 28mm carbs....
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Do you have to have a special charger for the Lithium batteries ? and are they completely sealed (no maintenance) ?
Fitted some filters on the Z1R 28mm carbs....
Checked out electrics - battery is good - all charging okay too!
Wired up the Acewell speedo - just got neutral & oil pressure lights, but does have rev counter with RPM gear change light too.
Fitted the speedo pick-up onto the sprox cover with the magnet on the drive sprox. The final drive ratio is 2.3:1, so took the front wheel circumference and divided by 2.3 to give the figure (600mm) to feed into computer...... will see how far out it is after a proper "roadtest".
Couple more shots of it in daylight......
Ran it around the yard at work - all seems good - ready for MOT next week

I fancy that with undertail exhausts,been looking at the style for my gpz for ages course finding it is sommat else,more like a self custom build
