CHOKE LEVER BLACK PLASTIC PART..

Hi all,
I just had some bits rezinc including a mikuni choke lever for which I was told could get around the black plastic part without any prob, only to pick it up with it gone, prob melted :x so was wondering if the black part is available or possible to get anywhere???
