new one pitted forks,,what do I do with em.or has someone got any for sale,the pitting is mostly at the top ,can they be rechromed.

it would probably cost more to get them re chromed than it would to buy new from z power

if its at the top and doesn't cause fork oil to bypass the seal when the suspension is fully compressed, you might get away with it - did on my Z1000 which had just very small bit of pitting on 1 fork.

or i've heard there is something like liquid metal you 'pour' into the pitting, but dont know anything else about.
