z1000j carburettors

wanted a set of carbs to fit me z1000j,bikes running dog rough and is a t**t to start,and when warmed won't rev past 5000/5500 rpm,stuck new dyna s on it,ignition/coils,
standard air box/filter and standard jetting.............bit stumped really :oops:

OR ANYBODY THAT CLEANS/REFURBS CARBS or even a set to borrow............any pointers or offers greatly appreciated

have you checked valve clearances and compressions .. also check for air leaks :wink:

You can borrow the CV's that are on my J at the moment.
Problem is they would probably have a fit if i sent them by post, them being more than a little stinky!!! Carbs that is not the postal service :D
