Will these fit

Found these listed for a Zephyr, they appear to be £300 cheaper than Ohlins listed for a 1000R, so what's likely to be the difference, would they even fit a 1000R ?

Can't imagine they'd be far away,just slightly shorter at 347mm instead of 350mm.
The Zephyr 1100 is probably a similar weight to the 1000R.
What's the damage on these Paul ??

The Zephyr ones are roughly £660 all in including delivery , I was quoted £982 + vat from Harris yesterday for Z1000R Ohlins

So actually these are about £530 cheaper !!

The Ohlins pictured above appear to have no rebound or compression adjustment.

Unlike these that have a knurled adjuster below the spring & another on top of the reservoir.

The Zephyr ones look narrower, 36mm piston, so would maybe allow fitment without butchering the chain guard ?

I see what you mean about certain things not on the cheaper option, well spotted Gingerbear.

Do people actually fiddle with knobs ....

Agree, but as another option there's Gazi shocks, these get a good report on ZRX forums, comparable to Ohlins some reckon for about £560, however they are spec'd for ZRX so longer and wider, means modifying chain guard.

Those 'cheap' Ohlins look like the ones fitted to some Yamahaha's (XJ?) as OEM when they owned 50% of the company. No damping adjusters and they do come up on Fleabay quite often.

I have them fitted on my Z1000R, they look good but can quite honestly say that I don't ride the bike that hard that I'd feel the benefits, would swop them for some original shocks!

I would give Maxton a shout, the pair i have on my race bike are stunning and bespoke to you and your bike also brand new, the harris price dosent include any alterations either ie stiffer springs etc
