Bridgestone BT-45's are what I've just purchased for mine, a good compromise.

Tyreleader.co.uk were the cheapest and gave good service.

don't use the original recommended tyre pressures if you put modern tyres (e.g. BT45s) on. they'll be too low.

use 2.5 bar front and 2.6 bar in the rear. Or 32/38 in PSI terms.

Agree on first sentence. 32/38 does sound high tho' - what does it go up to when bike is fully loaded :?:

Its what Bridgestone recommend and its been fine for me....

but hey normally just me on the bike not 2 up with a shed load of camping gear etc.

My wife is very heavy, I inflated my rear tyre to 40psi, didn't
encounter any handling problems.
In fact, it stuck to the road even better, of course this was
largely down to my riding technique too
