Piggy you are spot on the money :D

If you still are too tight then you'll have to have new seat fitted :shock: This must only be performed by a really good engineer, as a bodger could write off the head and they are no longer plentiful!

Thanks guys, going to pick up a 200 shim at the weekend so we can go through them and see what's what. If they are too tight it'll be off with it's head! (only put the bleeder on last week)

do a compression test straight after - i'm hoping you haven't bent any valves...
