Shell identification help req'd please
On the left is the shell off the J1 and i believe it is correct for that bike.
On the right is another shell just like it but has only one hole for wiring.
Everything else seems the same!
Both have the same numbers stamped in; Stanley 001-0799 Japan.
Any clues what the one on the RHS is from please?

Re: Shell identification help req'd please
The headlamp bracket on the one with two holes looks like a GPZ1100B1 or Z1000J1.
Cheers,

...and indeed the parts list for a J1 Headlamp shows 2 holes, well at least 2 grommets for said holes.
Cheers,

Re: Shell identification help req'd please
Also fits the MK2 I now understand Al, I'll have it at the right price
Don't need the bracket though.

Re: Shell identification help req'd please
Mark its the one on the RHS; the scruffy one with no brackets, daggy paint and a single hole which i want to get rid of.
Its a £5 if you want it or i will put it in the FS section plus post for anyone who can make use of it.
The one with brackets, powder coat and two holes is only there for a comparison as i know it is from my J1.

Mark buy the one with one hole and you can drill as many holes in it as you like.
Its identical except in that way and even has the same part number.

Or you could put the one with one hole on your bracket, which you're never going to use and sell me the one with two holes.
Cheers,
