Z1000a1 Side Stand !!

#1 PostAuthor: BigZCas » Tue Mar 28, 2017 9:07 pm

Can anyone advise please ?
Z1000a1 German import, Frame No KZT00A014052
Has anyone come across anything like this, the sidestand is on a welded bracket further forward than usual and there is a welded bracket with 2 tapped holes where the sidestand bracket usually is ??
(try to ignore the funky gear lever !!)

Any help / advise much appreciated,,
Cheers
Steve

Has the side stand been moved to allow an airshifter
to be used?

its where the side stand switch would have been mounted. not seen one on a z1000a1 but they are fitted to the german z1r of which your gear lever is from

that is standard for german market bikes. god knows why.

I can post a picture of one of my Z1000Hs which is the same but has the switch still intact.

Hello Neil,
Sorry to be a pain.
Do you have any idea what the part number is for the rubber part that slips over the foot peg bracket, the Side stand hits it when it flicks back ?

Thanks
Steve
