Hi all - I seem to have gotten my self into a situation where I have too many 'Projects pending' not enough time to complete and due to new and forthcoming grandchildren dwindling inclination.
I have a dismantled but complete 77/78 Z1000 with all paperwork 39000 miles. It is stripped to its Components but the motor is all together. It is original bar the Harris exhaust and comes with two tanks several sets of carbs, air box's etc and loads of other kit.
I also have a couple of baby (350 and 500 Guzzis) which I would like to add too as I used to have a California and a MkII Lemans both of which I sorely miss.
If anyone has a complete and running Guzzi matching either of the above I could well be tempted for a swap. I also have a 98% rebuilt 1979 KL250 that I want £1500 for. I'm just rebuild tired and worn out!! Tempt me.

What "cash" are you looking for the Z1000?
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
Re: z1000a1 swap for Guzzi?
Hi guy's many thanks for the reply's and pm's to last nights beer soaked post - you have all asked the same question 'how much do I want for it?' the daft thing is I would rather swap it for something interesting and preferably on the road than sell it. I genuinely have no idea what the bike is worth in it's current state, my heart tells me that I should keep it and spend a shed load on it - If I turned it into cash I would probably end up buying another project that would in reality be less desirable than the Z. So I thought that I might swap it out for a complete runner or sober up, keep it and do the work.
Pics below show the bike as it was (before I got it) and how it is now. The previous owner stripped the bike down and accrued a spare tank, a couple of airbox's and a couple sets of carbs. It also has new in the packet fork stanchions. When I got it first I checked with DVLA and it was originally registered as green so my intention was / is to put it back that way.

Still waiting for the DVLA. Then sell it and start the next project.
Would kill two with one stone for me if interested? If you are PM me and we can talk the difference £'s on there.
