Tear in Z1000 seat
My 79 Z1000 has a tear/split in the seat top side about 1 inch long - what are the options here bearing in mind the seat is in otherwise excellent condition ie repair or recover - Ideas of potential costs and names of any recommended suppliers for West London, Buck, Berks, Herts areas etc appreciated - Cheers

Re: Tear in Z1000 seat
Hi, I have had some success with vinyl weld glue, slip a piece of vinyl underneath the tear and fill with the black vinyl glue, just covered a pair of seats as well, bit of a faff but ok as long as you get warm, some info on you tube,Pk seats Cannock or Leightons at Brum will recover seat, just depends on what you want to spend...Paul J
