However it wont shift up the gears properly ( fine going down ) when you remove the cover you can see the pawls dont line up squarely with the pins so the higher pin prevents the lower hook from sitting properly under its pin,tried to show this in next photo.
..unless ive made a mistake? it seems like possibly the gear shift sent is not correct,I asked for a Mk2 but its identical in dimensions to my old st one bar a slightly cut out for the spring,if any one can help it would be really appreciated! cheers
