Thoughts on these shocks?

#1 PostAuthor: Jay1969 » Thu Jun 01, 2017 9:36 pm

Thinking of buying these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-13-5-PROG ... Ciid%253A1
- but wanted to know if they're any good? Anyone had experience of riding with them?
I like the look of them, don't like the look of piggy back shocks.

If you deal with Hagon directly you can specify what finish or combo of finishes you want. They will also fit a spring suitable for your weight if your willing to tell them that!

Progressive supension are reputable enough. I would be interested to knw the model. Also 13.5 inch is 343mm which is quite long

standard shocks are 350mm eye to eye.

Personally I would go for some gazi or hagons and get them specified to your design for the extra £'s you'll get something that works and is not a gamble.

My mistake the correct length is indeed 350mm eye to eye

Jeff Saunders sells these for $184.96 on his website and he does not sell crap.
They are available in two spring rates, standard & heavy duty.

Personally I think they are good value for money.

be aware though (and it pains me to say this) the stuff i've bought from z1enterprises.com recently have all had duty applied + VAT.
Its also come from Florida not Marion, NY.

So suggest you factor that into any cost comparison.

Import costs often overlooked Chris, fortunately the ebay ones are already over here
