Z1R cams

#1 PostAuthor: Big Fluff » Wed Jun 21, 2017 3:18 pm

Can anyone please tell me if the standard cams in a 77 Z1R are solid or hollow?
The ones I've found in this TC motor are hollow. I thought the only hollow cams were early Z1.
If this is the case, are there any differences in regards to duration, overlap etc?
Additionally, if I line up the arrow head on the ex cam sprocket with the head, the notch on the end of the cam doesn't align with the head. It's like half a tooth out.
Regards Will

Solid cores for Z1R but cam specs on all kicker engines ( Z1 to MK2 ) are the same.
As for the notch. are the sprockets slotted ?
