Z650 B1 front fender and grab rails

Hi chaps,
in my quest for more "rocking horse poop" parts for 1977 Z650 B1 I need a front fender (35001-1017) plus the two stays (35010-030)

I am also looking for two pillion grab rails (32109-016) as the bike had none on it.

The fender that came on the bike looks nothing like the correct one and has no stays. Anybody recognise it or is it just some generic that was stuck on there 25 years ago?

Warren, do you think that stay brackets could be made & welded back onto the fender and re-chromed or not worth it?

Nothing is impossible Matt. Again its been painted black but I think I did that back In the 70's. I'm pretty sure the chrome is good on it under the paint so welding might mess it up? You could possibly make a bracket up for the stays without welding it though. I think the stays will be next to impossible to find. Everyone took them off and went for the 900 no stay look.
Having said that I know a guy in Argentina who bought up the entire countries NOS inventory in the mid 80's. I managed to get NOS heat shields from him for my Z1000A1. I could drop him a line if you'd like? If anyone has NOS stays it'll be him.

That scrape on the mudguard will need silver soldering before re chrome, but once done won,t even be noticable.

Did not go for them Warrren, I had already bought that NOS rear fender off ebay and picked up an extremely good condition rear light and bracket from kawasaki_heaven in Wales...so just need the front fender and 8 valve mark is sorting that for me.

Still looking for grab rails though....may have to buy repro ones. No doubt more lists of bits to come.
