I can ride my modified but tidy Z1R if needed. I'll have to bring the bike up and leave it there, collecting it when the shows over. Just let me know if its needed. I'm in North Birmingham so Stafford isn't too much of a jaunt.

Re: Stafford show October
I'm looking forward to Stafford, particular as I've only displayed at classic car shows for the last 35 years - me and 'Dangerous Dave' (73 UK Z1) will bring the bikes up in a van and kip in it overnight rather than camp.
Is there usually anything planned for the Friday and Saturday evenings?
Cheers

Re: Stafford show October
There is nothing official happening on site and no bar once the doors have shut.
Last year I was camping on my own so it was early to bed once it was too dark to see.

There will be some beers to be had at the Hurricane and Spitfire Travel lodges if anything like last year, there was a good crowd staying in those hotels and some of the Norwegian triples club also. Great Fun. They are not too far from the show ground, but definatly a taxi ride rather than walking. I'll be stopping all three nights most likely.
Re: Stafford show October
agree - most congregate at Spitfire/Hurricane Premier Inn and some consume VAST amounts of Stella so they can't speak.

Too late for Mine I think even an oily rag won't work
But patina or the weathered look might be more appropriate
way too many Zeds
