Power changes Z1000

#1 PostAuthor: scarebus03 » Wed Aug 23, 2017 2:35 pm

Does anybody know the approximate power increase when using the v&h 4-1 exhaust and wiseco 1045cc big bore kit?
From a restoration point of view the big bore kit was the only practical solution to a seized engine and 4-2 exhausts are like hens teeth. Each of which has to increase power output.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Well set up with 28mm carbs, 80bhp (at the wheel) should be realistic, baring in mind most std bikes are around 65bhp. Add decent carbs, cams and flowed head = +100bhp easy enuff.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
