Somewhere along the line the camshaft bushings have been blasted, don't ask me how or where they were but it has happened. I put it down to going senile.....
Question to the masses, are they best in pairs i.e. do I have to buy the total 16 of them or can I just get the 8 that are rough as guts and pair them back to the original other halves ?
Other option is to polish them back up but think replacing is best way to go.

ideally you need to use plastigage to determine what clearance you have ? you can buy the cam shells in singular form

Doesn't matter where you put them individually, no need to keep them as pairs.
Depending on the type of blasting media they may be ok to re-use but can't tell how rough they are from the pics.
If you buy 8 new then put the new ones in the caps and the used ones in the head.
The ones in the caps get more pressure as the cam is always being pushed up by the valve springs.

That sounds reasonable for genuine Kawasaki parts

I'd replace the whole lot as a set personally, though I've replaced odd ones in the past without problems. In my experience pattern ones from Zpower or similar ( probably PMC brand) are fine.

Have decided to replace the lot, why gamble. And if I'm going to order from overseas I may as well fill the box with some other gear.
