A4 clutch perch

Can some confirm the correct mirror thread on the A4 clutch perch.
Ive just purchased a new master cylinder assembly with a 10mm thread for the mirror. However the clutch perch that's on the bike now is a large thread, way bigger than a 10mm. Iv'e a feeling the perch is wrong for the bike.

yes should be 10mm
