Re: Z1B back from the dead
Been a while since I posted ...a leak in my bathroom and one thing lead to another and new central heating ..new bathroom ...... full house decoration etc became priority
Anyway I took a closer look at the head I was using and found the cams tight in the caps and then a crack etc etc so I started the hunt for a replacement several heads later I found one that was suitable for rebuild at zpower and dropped it off at Engine tekniks in Westhoughton ,
Picked it up this week with new guide liners or guides where needed , several new valves , seats cut and shimmed up ready to fit
Will try and get in the garage this weekend to fit it

Re: Z1B back from the dead
It was less than a year since I found the remains of a Z1B in a garage in Manchester with absolutely no history and no record even on a traders HPI ...... I cracked on and rebuilt the bike and its nearing completion so my thoughts turned to registering it
I found various pieces of advice on the net which were no real help so I downloaded a Nova form of the net , filled in any gaps I could and put a hand written note with it saying exactly what I knew and how much I paid
Today the NOVA cert dropped through the letter box so now registering should be a formality ..... thought this might be helpful for some folks on here
