I had a look via search and can see where you can buy the crimp pins & sockets but does anyone know how to safely remove them from the coloured plugs? I've tried contact cleaner to try and make a better connection but waggling the plug makes the connection come & go.
Update:
Should have said that by 'coloured plugs' I mean the plugs & sockets that are behind the left side panel.
Thanks

How do you repair / remove plugs / sockets from the coloured wiring connectors?

On the back of each crimped pin/spade there is a small sprung tag that locks in to the connector block OR a similar plastic tag on the block that locks on to the spade.
You need to push the tag back towards the spade or block to release it.
I use a pin or flattened piece of thin welding rod for the job.
It's a bit tricky at first but once you know what you are doing it's easy enough.
