Air Corrector Jets for 24,26 and 28mm Mikunis.Z650,Z1,Z9,Z1000.Also Suzuki GS 750,850,1000. £32 posted.
Air correction jets for VM and CV carbs.
For those not in the know these almost mythical and long out of production jets were originally designed and dyno developed by the legendary Leon Moss and marketed under the LEDAR brand.
These are essential when running your Mikuni VM26 - VM28 equipped Z1/Z900/Z1000 and Suzuki GS750/850/1000 without a stock airbox to correctly eliminate the low speed lean fueling condition flat spot that results.
Also suits Z650 VM24's.
Also improves running over the entire range with an average increase of two to six horsepower overall and provides a much needed level of added adjustability to the stock VM that was only previously available on the smoothbore versions.
Fitting these jets pinpoints the low speed fueling problem created by running open carbs or high flow filters and does not detrimentally richen the overall fueling the same as lifting the needles does which can result in up to 25% power loss and raised fuel consumption..
You will need to internally thread the air bleed in the mouth of each carb 8mm deep with an m5 x 0.8 tap (not included ) .
The air bleed orifice is already the correct tapping size so no drilling required.
See the attached pics for images of the jets and the THIRD pic for fitting reference with the correct position of the air bleeds highlighted and jets installed.
Also be aware of that some KAWASAKI VM26SS carb sets that are only equipped with the FUEL mixture screws underneath are made up of all left or right handed carb bodies..
In this instance the jets must be installed in the air passage furthest away from the unmachined air screw boss.
In the case of left hand bodies ALL the jets should be fitted at the 4 o'clock position and on right handed bodies all at 8 o'clock..
See LAST attached pic for example of a left hand body set with the jets installed in the 4 o'clock position..
Also available again for CV carbs on KAWASAKI ZR550A1, Z650, Z750L3. ,GT750, GPZ750,Z750 CUSTOM. Z1000J1/J2/J3/R, Z1100A1/A2/A3 - SUZUKI GS550 mx/mz Katana. GS650GT, 650 Katana 81, GSX750ET, GS850G, GS1000E/G, GS1100G, GSX1100 early and GSX1100G/KATANA.
These too require the jets to be installed in the 4 o'clock position on all CV bodies as they are not handed.
All types are £32.00 posted to UK for a set of four jets ( second pic )
(additional sets £29 on the same order)

Hi , Mark. Don't know if they used the same size drilling for the CV's but the instruction leaflet says for Mikuni CV's also and that they are not handed and go in the 4 o'clock position on all carbs
These are 0.5mm which I bet are close but any reduction over standard is a step in the right direction..
If unsure you would be better off replacing the whole lot as I only have full sets anyway.

Yes! Any Z9/1000 running VM 26/28mm round slide carbs without the airbox.
They also work with the Suzuki GS's with VM's and I also have them in my ex 1000 katana 32mm smoothbores.
