Z900 A4 Cutch

#1 PostAuthor: Wayne1960 » Thu Aug 15, 2019 8:12 am

When idling at app 1k there is a distinctive noise, rattle that completely goes and the idle settles when I pull in the clutch.

Any advice to remedy please.
Just purchased a 1976 UK Z900 A4 for renovation. Wish me luck.
Bike now finished what a joy!

It's fairly common for the clutch housing springs to work lose. Kits are available although the rivets need welding. Buzzard can fit them for you.

Worth checking carbs are balanced correctly, carbs out can cause a noisy clutch on idle.
